The Hybrid mouse mat is 254mm by 406mm and only 4mm thick. This gives you plenty of space to move around. The cloth is soft to touch and it feels comfortable to move your wrist over the material. The structure of the mouse mat also makes it quite attractive. I always liked the nanofiber surface. It might look a bit busy and in your face but it really is an eye catcher.

The Hybrid did an excellent job when it comes to tracking of my mouse. It has endured many hours of work and gaming with great satisfaction. What makes this mousemat better than a soft cloth mat is it being a Hybrid pad, which means that the plastic surface is bonded to the Nanofiber cloth surface. The plastic is bonded on a molecular level and physically changes the surface from a cloth surface to a hybrid of cloth and plastic. Flexible, yet still retaining the plastic surface.

The surface feels just a bit softer and nicer than the Ripper series. The Nanofiber surface looks really cool and it did an excellent job in keeping track of my mouse. The newer Hybrid mouse mat has an even sleeker looking exterior than their first version that came out a long time ago. This mouse mat is an excellent choice if you are looking for a mouse mat that not only looks cool, has the same features as the hard surface pads but want the whole package as a cloth pad, then this is the one to look out for
