Last but not least, today we are looking at the HDT-S1283 Red Scoprion. This cooler looks really familiar and that’s because we reviewed this exact cooler the last time, but in a different outfit. This cooler received numerous awards from sites like Toms Hardware and Caseumbau. This cooler has the same HDT technology as the other coolers we have looked at. It basically means that the heat pipes are in direct contact with the processor. Its heat dissipation is more efficient and it would mean you’ll have a better and efficient working cooler.

The Red Scorpion is a little different than the previous cooler we reviewed. It is called the Red Scorpion because of the black and orange fan with white led’s.

The Red Scorpion has a more attractive packaging, just like the Xigmatek Achilles. It has a fan with led’s and that’s the big difference between this cooler and perhaps the cooler we reviewed 1.5 week ago. The Red Scorpion is a heat pipe cooler with aluminum fins and it has the same spoiler to direct fan towards the motherboard area.

The fan is mounted to the fins exactly the same as their other coolers, you use the rubber fan mounts which are easy to use and they stop any vibrations from going through the fan. As you know, the more silent the cooler, the better
