This case also offers a solution to route the wires from the power supply down to the bottom of the motherboard tray to allocate the hard drives. Quite useful, but the edge near of the motherboard tray near the front of the motherboard makes it hard to route any wires from the back to the front of the case, if you put any wires between the edge and the side panel then you won’t be able to close the side panel
The Nexus Clodius is Nexus’ attempt to create an entry level computer chassis which can house a silent computer system without having to spend too much money. They did a great job of keeping the look of the case stylish and subtle.
The small details like the thumbscrews underneath the lowest bay cover and the hidden usb connectors are really useful. The chassis doesn’t have a lot of bells and whistles but its function over form. It does it all quite good but once you start adding hardware to the chassis you’ll notice that it get’s quite cramped in there. The hard drives are nearly touching the video card. I’m just using a regular 1 card setup but if you have something more elaborate then you’ll have trouble getting to the connectors with your hands.
The case looks great from the outside, it looks bone stock from the inside but for just under 50 euro’s it’s quite a good case with two 120mm fans, mounted with rubber fan mounts and connected to a easy to use fan controller
