A closer look

FSP revamped their Epsilon packaging a while back, I’ve seen 3 different designs for the packaging but the power supply itself remains the same. The FSP Epsilon 700watts power supply has a cardboard packaging with a see through bit at the front to look at the power supply. A part from that it has the regular bits and pieces on the back that describes the product features and the specifications. And what type of connections are available on this power supply.

Before you determine what power supply you need and what wattage you’ll be needing. It’s best to use an online calculator to calculate an estimate of your power drainage. There are power consumption analyzers on the internet that calculate an estimate of what you would need with the hardware you have.

The power supply is neatly packed with all the cables tucked on the right and the power cord on the left. The power supply is not modular, which means that all the cables are already attached to the power supply. The cables are quite long so it key to have them routed somewhere away from the hardware if you are not using the cables.
