First Looks

FSP has been making power supplies in all sizes and shapes for a while now. I still remember the very first time I saw one of their power supplies. It was purple and it was already quiet and advanced for it time back then. Now with their Epsilon range of power supplies FSP tries to keep up with the need for power when dual video card setups and larger capacity hard drives are becoming more standard.

“Epsilon power supply unit offers the element of energy (600W/700W, PS2 standard), the element of economy (Active PFC 0.99 active power factor correction), the element of effibciency (above 85% efficiency) for dramatically reduced power consumption and lower electricity bills and the element of being environmentally friendly with RoHS and WEEE compliance.”

Be Quiet! currently offers two wattages for the Epsilon range, 600watts and 700watts. Both have the distinctive purple/blue color scheme as most other power supplies from FSP. Which really makes them stand out. Most power supplies are glossy black or standard grey but FSP has been doing this long before anyone else ever thought on making their power supplies look different than the rest.
