When you try to use the 3D Core-Fan Bracket, which is a vertical bracket that consists of numerous holes and can hold up to four 120mm fans, you should keep in mind that it might not fit with your setup. In my case I couldn’t use the entire bracket because it was hitting my Accelero S2 cooler, which basically made the entire 3D Core-Fan Bracket obsolete. In most cases the video card, or any other type of card won’t stick out as far as my X1950pro with the Accelero, but if it does than you won’t be able to use it.

This is definitely a case that will satisfy all your needs in terms of ventilation, esthetic and functionality. The fan bracket is a nice addition to cool down your hardware but if it’s interfering with your hardware than it makes it useless and before you can get to work, you need to remove the entire thing which isn’t hassle free like their tool-less installation for drives and video cards. In the end this is a nice case, it the kind of case that’s worth every penny and since it’s not that expensive too buy, it’s a good choice if your looking for a case that has it all. Just make sure you pick the version with the included power supply and side windows!

Final Verdict

  • Looks great from the outside
  • Some rough and sharp edges, especially the door.
  • The two cold cathodes shine up nicely
  • Available in different variations, with the possibility of choosing a power supply
  • Case is sensitive to hard drive activity and vibrations
  • The case is not expensive and great value for money
  • The fan bracket will probably interfere with larger cards, making it useless
  • Tool free drive installation
  • You need to remove the fan bracket with screws before you can get to work, they should have made it click in place for easy access
