The Tuniq 3 has no thumbscrews, but have regular screws to hold the side panels. But once you got rid of them, your greeted by the 3D Core-Fan Bracket, which lets you add and remove up to four 120mm fans. But most importantly you enter the work space for your computer. The case looks a bit cramped and that’s mostly due to the 3D Core-Fan Bracket. You will need to remove it before you can sufficiently move around inside the case to get everything installed.
Tuniq includes a bunch of material to get you going. For starters they include a small instruction booklet and the rail brackets for the drives, these are tool-less so you only need to click them onto the drives and slide them into the drive bay. Also included are the necessary screws and motherboard standoffs.
The Tuniq 3 has room for five 5 1/4 drives and three internal hard drives, none of which are damped by rubber or some system to keep vibrations at a low. You can definitely hear the difference between a hard drive mounted with rubber grommets or some sort of mechanism to dampen the vibrations and a regular installation. You should always look for the best solution to mount your hard drives and this simply won’t cut it. You could move them with a bracket to the 5 1/4 drive bay if required.
