The Waterblock
Thermaltake included an all copper water block with this kit, which will fit on almost any new socket type from Intel or AMD. It weighs about 340 grams and it has a lapped base for maximum contact between the processor and the water block, Thermaltake included regular silicone type of thermal compound, I suggest you spend some money on Arctic Silver.
Thermaltake included mounting material for AMD’s AM2 series and K8 series. But it also has a bracket for Intel’s socket 775 and even the older P4’s are compatible. The mounting brackets are chromed and it’s a durable system. Normally you’ll see bits and pieces bending but the brackets that Thermaltake uses are fairly rigid.
Radiator
The included radiator is a standard 120mm radiator with a thickness of 28mm, it seems a bit small and it isn’t as large as a black ice pro for instance.
It houses an adjustable 120×120x25mm blue LED fan with a rheostat attached to alter the fan speed. It can run at 1300rpm or you could turn it up to 2400rpm. It makes only 16db at the lowest setting but puts out 30db of noise when on maximum.
I prefer to keep it at something in between where the noise is not noticeable but keeping a look at the performance.
The stock radiator is sufficient for cooling your processor, but if you want to step it up a notch you could always go for the larger 240mm radiator. You could try and use the stock radiator with an additional water block but expect to see increased temperatures.
