Packaging

The Thermaltake M9D arrived in a sturdy cardboard box, although it had taken some beating from the post services it still came out of the box unharmed. The M9D we are looking at is the VI4000BWS, with the window in side panel that comes with the 23cm fan. The normal M9D (VI4000BNS) does not include the 23cm fan or the window. Keep a look out on that if your looking into buying this case!

It’s a given fact that cases most likely get damaged during transport than when it sits next to your on the ground. That’s why it’s so important to make sure the packaging is strong enough to protect the case against drops and dents. It’s not uncommon for me or for a consumer to receive a broken case. I’ve seen cases that have been demolished during transport but luckily this case arrived safe and sound. The case is wrapped in a plastic bag to keep the paint from getting scratched and it rests on styrofoam ends to keep it dent free.
