Packaging

Sunbeamtech has a distinctive black and blue coloring for each of their packaging along with their yellow logo which can be seen on every side of the box. The box looks plain and doesn’t scream at you to attract attention. The Core-Contact Freezer image can be seen on the front and once you look at the back you will see a bunch of specifications and features.

Unpacking

The Core-Contact Freezer comes in a plastic housing to protect the fins from getting damaged. It has a bunch of components that make up the installation of this cooler. It also comes with Tuniq TX-2 thermal compound, which is a good alternative to Arctic Silver. Also included is a pci slot fanbus that helps keep noise levels to a minimum. The fan is fairly quiet when turned down, but makes quite a lot of noise on full power. So the Fanbus is a nice extra, I’m using it all the time to keep my system as quiet as possible.

Other bits that come with this kit are four pins that hold the motherboard bracket in place. A manual, two fan clips that keep the fan attached to the cooler and included is a 120mm fan.
