Introduction

If I say Razer, immediately everyone says, Boomslang! The mouse that was superior compared to other gaming mice. Razer’s motto is, for gamers, by gamers. They design their products in cooperation with pro gamers and everyone at Razer are actually gamers as well. It’s nice to see that their philosophy is a way of life carried into their products as well. What we are looking at today is their latest mouse, apart from the recently launched special edition boomslang. It’s the Razer Diamondback 3g Gaming mouse.

First Looks

This was my first time looking at a mouse coming from Razer. I’ve always wondered whether it was that good, as everyone was telling. Now it was my time to get a hold of the Diamondback 3G which arrived with blue lighting, just the way I like it. The Razer Diamondback 3G is the third generation Diamondback, just some quick specs, it has an 1800DPI infrared sensor, some handy in game features like changing the sensitivity, and it’s available in three different colors.

The Razer Diamondback 3G comes in a fairly small retail packaging with distinctive green lettering, glossy images and lots of logos text and information to certainly try and capture your image and pull you closer towards it guessing what it might be. The Diamondback is available in blue, green and red. I have the blue version. Once you take a look at the back of the packaging it shows the key features of the mouse and along with some specs in many different languages.
