Unpacking

The NH-U12P itself is securely in place in its own box. It has the 120mm fan on top and the other bits and pieces all resides in another box. There are two bags with mounting hardware. One for Intel’s 775 and one for Amd’s AM2 socket. The NH-U12P is also compatible with AMD K8 (754, 939, 940) on request.

And Noctua also has updated their range of coolers to fit Intel’s new 1366 socket, they named it SecuFirm2 which is designed to combine outstanding reliability, optimal contact pressure and easy, straightforward installation, SecuFirm2™ is an enthusiast-grade mounting system that meets the highest demands in safety, performance and ease-of-use.

What comes included are the mounting hardware, a small booklet with the instructions (also available online here), two wires with resistors to tune down the fans, two mounting clips for the included 120mm fan and their own thermal compound.
