In Win Matrix

The front has two hidden bay doors that give you access to the only 5 1/4 bay and access to the usb front ports. This case has a total of four usb ports and two sound ports. This should be plenty for most users. This case is aimed at home theatre set ups but it would work just as good for a regular pc setup. The problem with the In Win Matrix starts as soon as you have your rig all set up and you are going to place it underneath your television. It’s not designed to lay flat on its side. For starters it would scratch the plastic on the side, but more importantly you wouldn’t be able to open the front covers. If you look closely the arms holding the covers swivel to the outside. If you use the case on its side than there is no way for the doors to open.

Once you removed a couple of screws on the backside of the case. It is time to remove the entire side panel. The case exterior is covered by plastic but the internal parts are all from metal. You can remove most of the panels quite easily. The back panel that covers all the wires is easily removed by pressing down on the brackets holding it in place. Same for the front cover once you have removed the side panel. You gently maneuver the panel away from the case and you are left with most of the care in its bare form.

Yes that would do the trick.

Looks like if you added some standoff feet to the side of the case the front doors would be able to open just fine… Check a hardware store for glide feet for furniture maybe?
