Gigabyte is particularly known for their motherboards. But over the recent years they’ve come up with all kinds of products other than motherboards. We looked at their Galaxy water cooling kit a few weeks ago, but now it’s time to check out the very popular Galaxy casing. It’s been out there for a while now, but they also released a longer version called the 3D Aurora 570. We are looking at the normal version without the extended length.

Packaging

Gigabyte sells these cases in a graphic intense packaging, quite larger than the actual case. This is done to keep the case intact while in transit. This doesn’t always work the way it should, but luckily the case arrived unharmed with no scratches or dents. The packaging clearly shows the case, specs and special features. Although the box is fairly large, the overall weight is just under 10kilograms, making it a featherweight, compared to the much heavier Antec P180B.
