Front port connections are just below the power and reset button, this stops you from having to crawl behind your computer to insert your cables and usb sticks. The sides of the front bezel have vents that let hot air through, but most importantly this case has no ugly extra 3 1/2 slot. You won’t be using it anyway’s, but incase you might, they included a little bracket that can hold one. The Sonata Plus 550 has a very fine paint job, it’s very reflective and it’s fairly scratch resistant. Luckily it came with a protective cloth over it :)

The front door actually hangs on 2 hinges on the right, which can be opened after you removed the side panel and pushed back the plastic retainers. This way you can remove the entire front and install your drives, remove the hard drive brackets or clean the fan filter in the front. This case only comes equipped with one TriCool 120mm fan, but if you prefer more cooling than there’s room for another two 92mm’s in the front

The bottom section of the front has room for up to 4 hard drives which can be mounted either through the suspension mount, which is are three sets of elastic suspenders to suspend the hard drives in the cage for maximum noise reduction, or by the old fashioned way, with four trays equipped with silicone grommets to reduce hard drive vibrations.

During my use of this case I dropped my raptor drives twice when I tried to suspend them using the suspension mounts. I read the instructions of course, but I just didn’t like it at all. Maybe it’s just me, but I rather stick to the trays which are just as easy to use, and keep the drives almost just as silent.
