Packaging

Instead of a dull black cardboard packaging like most case manufactures tend to use. Antec has a vivid and bright white packaging with a beautiful image of the Antec Sonata III case on both sides. The case is packed in styrofoam inserts to protect the case against freight damages. Packaging for cases hasn’t developed much in recent years. Heavier cases tend to break during transport, but the Sonata III arrived in one piece.

The back of the box shows a bunch of specs in different languages and some information on what this case has to offer. What’s included and basically the random stuff you find with any other cases as well. Once you unpack the Case, you’ll discover that it is covered by a protective bag. This way, the shiny paint job of the exterior doesn’t get scratched.

What Comes Included

  • Antec Sonata III 500 Case
  • EarthWatts 500Watt powersupply
  • Installation booklet
  • Drive bay sliders behind the drive bay covers

  • Screws, 2 keys and bits and pieces

The Antec Sonata III 500 comes with the usual bits and pieces that comes standard with most cases. Included are easy fastening rails for hard drives and cd drives. Also included with this case is a 500watts powersupply which is 80plus certified. More information on what 80-plus means, click here.
