Inside

The P180 does not have a removable motherboard tray, which makes things just a little bit more difficult. Since this is still a mid-tower case, there’s not much room to work as soon as you put the motherboard inside the casing. The inside is divided in to two separate chambers. The motherboard supports any ATX or Mini-ATX motherboard without any problems.

They moved the motherboard to the top and brought down the power supply. This helps bring down the temperature since the motherboard is separated from the power supply by an adjustable vent plate that’s adjustable to the amount of wires that are coming from the power supply.

The P180 has two removable trays that are easily removed by pulling on the key rings, after you removed the thumbscrew that keeps them in place. The removable trays can hold up to six 3.5″ drives. Just below the middle tray is room for a floppy drive. Antec also provided fan clips to mount a 120mm fan on the removable tray for cooling down your drives.

A neat feature of the removable drive bay are the two containers where you mount your hard drives on, has rubber grommets that prevent vibration from your hard drive. Antec supplied longer screws to fit in the bottom of your hard drive, making installation of a hard drive a breeze. Behind the tray is a little box that can hold your screws or other parts that you might need in the future.
