Test System

Processor: AMD Xp 2200+
Motherboard: Soyo Kt400 Ultra Platinum
Memory: Corsair PC3500
Thermal Paste: Arctic Silver III

Installed inside my Coolermaster ATC-220B-AX1 with one 80mm fan blowing air into the case, and one on the top sucking air out of the case, the enclosure was closed too, these temperatures can be different than yours, or any other review site because the differences in the room temperature, the amount of fans installed, etc. etc. It all depends on many factors.

Jet 7 Results - Max RPM

  • Room temperature - 23.2 Celsius
  • Idle Temperature - 32 Celsius
  • Stressed Temperature - 35 Celsius

Jet 7 Results - Min RPM

  • Room temperature - 23.2 Celsius
  • Idle Temperature - 36 Celsius
  • Stressed Temperature - 43 Celsius

Conclusion

You like noise? this is your cooler !, the radial fan makes a tremendous amount of noise while it’s spinning at it’s highest RPM, The cooler performs better than the Aero 7 with only a 1800t-bred !, however it makes more noise than the Aero 7 though, Installation is easy, the looks are fantastic, however the fan bracket could have been smaller so more air could go through, it’s a shame this cooler makes so much noise at higher rpm’s, at lower rpm’s the temperature is still O.K., but when your looking at the SLK900 or a Swiftech cooler you’ll see a bigger difference in temperatures, and a bigger hole in your pocket. Overall a fine cooler, but a tad too noisy for my ears.

Final Verdict

  • Looks
  • Accessories
  • Innovative
  • Easy installation
  • Smooth base
  • Noisy at higher Rpm’s
  • Fan bracket obstructs the airflow
  • Cheap looking heatsink, could have been way better
