Performance

Now what about the temperatures!? I ran some tests with the fan voltage on 7volts, and 12 volts, and I used the following setup:

Abit IC7 Motherboard
Intel Pentium 4 2.8c
Corsair PC3500 256MB

I ran the water-cooling kit outside my casing, thus the temperatures can be a little bit lower then yours inside your casing. And I used a Coolermaster Aerogate II to take the temperature of the backside of the GPU, the chipset temperature, the radiator temperature, and the water temperature, and for the processor temperature Motherboard Monitor 5.0

7v - Idle - 2.8ghz

  • Water-temperature - 30.5c
  • CPU-temperature - 35c
  • Radiator-temperature - 31.0c
  • Chipset-temperature - 31.5c
  • Videocard-temperature - 34.0c

7v RPM - Stressed

  • Water-temperature - 34.0c
  • CPU-temperature - 44.0c
  • Radiator-temperature - 34c
  • Chipset-temperature - 35.0c
  • Videocard-temperature - 41.5c

12v - Idle

  • Water-temperature - 28.5c
  • CPU-temperature - 34c
  • Radiator-temperature - 28.5c
  • Chipset-temperature - 29.5c
  • Videocard-temperature - 33.5c

12v - Stressed

  • Water-temperature - 32.5
  • CPU-temperature - 41.5
  • Radiator-temperature - 32.0
  • Chipset-temperature - 33.5
  • Videocard-temperature - 39.5

Conclusion

This kit rocks, but it’s not perfect though, the GPU block can cause some problems with some of the Radeon users out there because of the shim the cards have. You want better contact? remove some copper on the outside of the block by using sandpaper, or remove the shim. The performance is great I reached 3.5ghz and I’m quite sure with the right memory I could have gotten higher. It’s an easy to use kit, everything
is included and best of all, anyone can use it !. I had no problems while going through the installation, and I’m quite satisfied by the overall performance.

Final Verdict

  • Easy Installation
  • Great Performance
  • Great Looks
  • Everything you need
  • Rough looking base on the blocks
  • Anti Algue liquid didn’t work for me, it worked against me !
